Wanlapa Nunual is Senior Investment Promotion Officer in charge of agriculture industries for the Thailand Board of Investment. BOI is a government agency under the Office of the Prime Minister with core roles and responsibilities to promote valuable investment, both investment into Thailand and Thai overseas investment. During the last three years, Thai government has been focusing on strengthening its economy with research and development, creativity, innovation, and investment programs by new development model called “Thailand 4.0,” which includes agriculture and programs to increase yields while reducing inefficiencies, water consumption, fertilizers, and pesticides.

Summer Deng is the sales director of DJI Agriculture overseas. Before DJI, he has 11 years of supply chain experience in Fortune 500. He joined DJI in early 2016, and started agricultural drones business overseas since then.

To date, DJI Agricultural drones has been sold to over 70 countries worldwide, serving nearly 10,000 users. Since 2012, DJI Agriculture has been devoted to improving the agricultural industry. In company with several business partners, DJI Agriculture established an agrarian ecosystem, which focuses on developing top-notch products, agrochemicals for drone use, and teams of talented industry workers. The Agras series products, including spraying drones and comprehensive flight management software, have gained tremendous popularity among farmers.

Dr. TONG Wei holds a Doctoral degree on Political Science. He graduates from China Foreign Affairs University which is the official diplomatic academy for Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2011 to 2017, He was the researcher and administrator in China National Association of International Studies and hosted many national-level research projects on Belt and Road Initiative. He came into private sector after 6-year civil servant career life and became a senior expert on international business in a well-known transportation company, DiDi Chuxing. After 2 years in the ride-hailing company, now he is the head of global cooperation in XAG which is a world leading agriculture technology company.

XAG is driving adoption and serving leading markets on key crops. This presentation will examine success stories by showcasing past and present projects that are creating more efficient farmers, more judicious use of fertilizers and pesticides, and better data for decision-making tools.
Future plans: With the management of more acreage, XAG is compiling agronomic information and deploying AI that will change the way farms and farmers manage their crops. XAG is more than a drone company, it’s an agriculture mainstay that is compiling the tools to deploy predictive analytics on its platforms in Asia Pacific and other key markets around the world.
